I dropped my skis, boots and bindings for a remount and full tune. They had them for 8 days and didn't touch them. I got a full refund and took my kit to a local ski shop. They had my skis ready the next day and was cheaper than REI's member pricing. Support local ski shops, you guys. REI is a corporation that has lost touch with being proud of what you do.

Even though I brought the original cord and poles with me, what they sold me was much too thick and didn't fit the poles. Didn't realize until I got home--trusted the guy who sold it to me, so that's on me. I'm super annoyed at having to drive all the way back there on my day off to fix such a dumb mistake. Seriously tempted to just make REI refund the whole tent. Plan to shop at OGE from now on.
