    Andy was so sweet and kind to me, helping with an issue with my rental skis even though I rented them from a different shop. He went above and beyond to help me and it meant so much.

    Huge shout out to Sarah S, who has the patience of a saint and the smile to go with it! Sarah took the time to make sure our group had the gear and proper fit to ensure their Stowe experience was a positive one.     The staff there are just amazing. They seem to really love what they do. I didn’t rent my gear there. But today I had my stepon snow shoe stuck in the binder with the pants in the middle. I walked to the store to get some help, Chris and Chris (yes, they’re both names Chris) took my gear back and helped me get my shoe and pants unstuck from the binder. They totally saved my day.

    The people who work in this shop are truly one of a kind. Kendall, in particular has helped me, as a newer skier, learn more about the sport. He has discussed the variety amongst different gear and its purpose in length with me. Last year, I came into the shop mid runs on the mountain for a quick tune up and Kendall took care of my skies, made sure to have them nice and waxed w sharp edges so I could shred down the mountain!! This year, I returned to Kendall, who saw my skies and told me they were cracked at the core. He patiently explained all my options, asked and listened to my ski experience and what I needed out of my gear. Kendall advised several options, understanding skiing to be expensive. I chose to rent skis he had advised for the remainder of my day. Even then- Kendall reminded me about the EPIC discount, which helped a lot! After riding those skis, I fell in love with them so much I wound up buying them myself. Kendall truly is a wealth of knowledge in a patient teacher. I look forward to our visit next season and to Kendall’s new advice then.
