My son has been going to The Bullpen for almost 4 years and thanks to Zach and his staff, his transformation has been impressive. Zach runs the facility like an academy with phases throughout the year, emphasizing mechanics, kinesiology, pitch shaping and strength training among other things. Over the years Zach has bolstered his excellent instruction with the latest technologies to help with analysis and guide the boys’ progression. Because of the academy like setting, the camaraderie may be the most impressive aspect. The players get to see the work ethic demonstrated by some of the most elite pitchers in the region. On velo day, those guys may be cheering you on as you go for a PR. While Zach is very proficient at teaching technique, he’s also an excellent mentor for the boys, emphasizing hard work and dedication. The Bullpen is so much more than going to a pitching coach for an hour a week. It’s really a pitching coach, personal trainer and mentor all rolled up into one. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about pitching.

What is involved in the initial assessment?
The initial assessment involves a comprehensive look at all aspects that make up an athlete including: a body composition scan using Evolt360, and arm strength assessment using ArmCare, a weight room strength, power, and mobility assessment, and an analysis of throwing mechanics using our ultra slow motion camera system.
What ages train at The Bullpen?

Yes. In our 12 years of operation, we have set almost 200 athletes to play in college. We have an extensive network of coaching contacts and recruiting tools that we utilize to find each athlete the best place for them.
Do you offer 1-on-1 lessons?
Our training programs encompass the whole spectrum of pitching development including nutrition, arm health, throwing, and lifting. Due to this, our training does not fit into a traditional 1-on-1 style of training. Instead, our athletes come and complete their training sessions under the supervision and guidance of the coaches with extra individualized work and attention on an as-needed basis.
Do you train for other positions?
We have worked with non-pitchers in order to improve their throwing from the outfield, infield, and behind the plate. While we specialize in pitching, we work with anyone looking to improve their throwing abilities.
