Family owned and operated, Courtside West is one of Richmond’s longest running Racquet Clubs with a story that started back in the late 1970s. Designed and built in 1978 by founding partners, C. Page Highfill, AIA Emeritus (retired) and William Smith, AIA Emeritus (retired) — Courtside West has provided the Greater Richmond Area with a private, yet welcoming, indoor multiplex for racquet enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. For nearly 25 years, Page and his wife, Kate, ran Courtside West alongside a host of Richmond Tennis icons. Flash forward three generations, and Page’s two sons and grandson now operate the Club.

    Excellent place to play tennis, especially as someone new to the area. The facility is well maintained, the courts are always in great condition, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and professional. I would definitely recommend Courtside West to anyone looking for a quality place to play, improve, and enjoy the game.
