    I was a bit shocked to experience such a negative interaction with sales associate Suzanne and a male store manager. I was met with an almost argumentative, unnecessarily defensive attitude—a stark contrast to my previous experiences at other REIs. It was frustrating to be talked down to, especially since the problems turned out to be technical issues that the manager admitted he "had no idea" why were happening. Unprofessional, condescending, and rude. I had planned to stay longer to shop for my family's cross-country trip, but opted to leave as soon as humanly possible. I went down the road to Cabela's instead. This is the first time I’ve had such an awful experience at an REI, despite my family shopping at locations across the country for years. The staff at this location would benefit from training on basic customer service and professional courtesy.

    The garage sale at this location has significantly gone down hill. Used to have a whole room of dedicated space, now it’s been moved to a couple shelves in the shoe department. This is what always brought me in to browse. Disappointing.

    We just stopped by REI to look around, but Foster was super helpful! He took the time to size us, made sure we tried bags and shared a lot of great info. There was also another staff member who helped us out, I forgot his name, but he was really nice and gave great advice too. Everyone made our visit such a great experience.
