  For a place that charges a lot of money to be there and high food and drink prices, its absurd to not be allowed to get a glass of water at the table. You only have the option of purchasing water bottles or going to the water fountain all the way across the building everytime. The server told us it was against their policy to serve non-bottled water which is ridiculous.

  I’ve been bowling for years at Bowl America locations and have participated in multiple leagues, and I’ve never experienced anything like this until Bowlero took over. Last night was incredibly disappointing. We arrived with over an hour left before closing, expecting to get a lane like we always have in the past. Instead, we were told we couldn’t bowl, and the manager made no effort to accommodate us or even explain the situation properly. The interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially toward regular bowlers who have supported these centers for years. It’s frustrating to see such a drastic drop in customer service under the new management. Loyalty clearly doesn’t mean much here anymore. If this is the direction Bowlero is going, they’re going to lose long-time customers like me.

  This is not the original Bowl America I grew up going to. They have started making modifications/remodeling to keep up with the newer bowling Alleys. When you first enter there is a big black wall that goes all the way around (it use to be the check out area and an arcade for kids). When you walk in from the light (with transition glasses it makes it hard to know where to check in because there is no sign pointing to the left. (This was my first time here in years). The check in guy and staff were polite and the lanes worked great unlike Uptown Alley I went to not to long ago (it was a horrible time). They have updated it so now you can bring your food down to the tables which is great and like newer places but I guess they are in the middle of remodeling and that was the part that touched a nerve some.... the bar. They have no beer on tap yet, so you are forced to buy bottle beer which is more expensive. We asked for water and were told they only had bottle water. I had to ask for 2 cups and go to the water foutian to fill them up. They should have a way to accommodate since they have stayed open while renovating. They said they would charge the price of a soda for a water.... thats just crazy to me. Don't get me wrong, we still had fun and maybe when they are done with renovations I would go back. The menue doesn't have a lot to offer, some basic options but I suppose it's a start. They did have some deals on pizza when you buy so many drinks. The pizza is $20, it was good enough but the pretzel came with a jalapeño cheese, regular cheese would have been a nice option ( the sauce was also a little watered down). I wanted to give a 3.5 but there are no .5 options. The seating area wasn't that big. Luckily no one was next to us so we were able to take both tables and seats. Apparently the pro shop is also closed on weekends which was a bummer. Hopefully when it's fully remodeled then it will be a better place to go to. They also use to have a cheaper rate if you went before a certain time, hopefully they bring that back. The people who worked there were very nice, the service was appreciated .

  I've been going to this location off and on for years and it's always a good time. Quality staff anytime I go. Even with the recent construction, they have been doing a good job keeping things moving. Recommended for good times at the bowling alley+

  Not bad, but I scraped my hand up when I didn't notice the unfinished wood railings, and there was a glitch of the system partway through our first game. They fixed it! But yeah the construction site vibes and lack of couches do subtract from the experience
