  Overall experience wasn't great. I. Mean sure bowling, we bowled, but the price was high for the lack of updating and the food service was poor. The alley and lanes. The seating at the lanes was like it likely never changed from the 70s or whenever it opened. Hard plastic chairs hardly enough seats, 3 seats and a family of 5. Bathroom/locker room was dirty and felt old. Bummers were also manual!! Automatic bumbers have been a thing for over 25 years, I should be able to have bumbers for my kids and not for me. For the price of bowling there should be better upkeep and modernization. I've been to nicer places that cost less. If you're going to charge a premium price at least have a premium product. The food service. We ordered by scanning the QR code on the menu by our lane. Easy enough, 30 minutes later the food wasn't there. When I asked an amployee about it she took my order number down and said she would look into it. Later another employee came and said "online orders go to a different system, you'll have your food shortly." we got our food 45 minutes after I ordered it. Now this was Sunday 1230pm when I placed the order, the alley wasn't too busy and I could see no line at the food counter so they were obviously not busy. It was not a complex order, kids hit dog, kids cheese pizza, and pretzel app. 44 minutes, and me having to ask about it is bad...

  I came in to bowl after calling several other bowling alleys and getting rude responses. Bowl America Shirley location answered politely and was excited to receive me. The bowling was great , the ambiance was fun, and the food was just what I needed. However, what stood out the most was the server Chrystal! She was attentive , quick , efficient and personable. I felt like she actually cared about me and just providing a transactional experience. I would definitely come back just to have Chrystal serve me again. It was refreshing to see workers in the workplace care about their job and consumers. Thanks Chrystal and see you soon!!!

  We had a great time bowling here today, Chrystal was awesome. She took great care of us.

  Chrystal was amazing! She did a great job taking care of us! We really enjoyed the chicken tenders off of their menu.

  WATCH OUT FOR DISHONEST SALES: Booked 2- hour bowl, and as we approach the end of our time they tried to charge $186 to extend it, rather than the $25.99 unlimited bowling (which is only advertised in store). Outside of the dishonest and selfish sales practices, the lanes were actually in great condition and the environment was very fun for the whole family. I will be going back, but making sure to only book on-site and keep a keen eye on what they’re trying to charge.
