  A smaller REI from those I've been to, but Morgan helped me so much!! Literally the most personable and helpful worker I've ever had. Walked me through all gear I would need and helped me size and budget for my first backpacking trip. Great staff here not just looking to make a sale.

  Probably the worst REI location I’ve visited. Before a recent ski trip during the holiday, I had my skis machine-waxed at my local REI with no issues. After a few days of skiing, I stopped by this location for another wax, but the technician refused, claiming there were small dings that made it unsafe to run the skis through the machine—even though the service would have been under ten minutes. The very next day, I had the same skis waxed at the Solitude ski shop in under five minutes without any problem, so the refusal here felt unnecessary and inconsistent. The in-store experience was just as disappointing. I needed base-layer pants as our trip ended up being longer than planned. I approached an employee who was chatting with a friend about unrelated topics; she noticed me but didn’t offer help for quite some time. When I finally interrupted to ask where to find the item, she seemed annoyed rather than helpful. Throughout the visit, no one checked in, asked if I needed assistance, or even offered basic holiday well wishes. I was shopping with my daughter, and even she commented on how uncaring the atmosphere felt. Overall, the service here was surprisingly poor compared to other REI locations I’ve visited, and it left a very negative impression.

  Danielle was so kind and helpful when we came in near closing. We had come in to make a color swap on some shoes, but they didn’t have the color we were looking for. I was disappointed in the shoe options available, but Danielle was able to inform us of what else was available (plus the pros and cons of the options) and how we could get the most bang for our buck with our membership. Thanks REI for the great customer service!
