These guys don’t do regrips or club repair. Head over to Apex Golf Instruction if you’re looking for a real golf shop. It’s 11 minutes away and offers all the same services.

Fairway54 isn’t just another indoor golf spot. It feels like the first place in Utah that truly understands what golfers want from a simulator experience: realism, precision, ease of use, and an environment designed for actual improvement—not just novelty. The moment you step inside, you can tell the focus isn’t on being a bar with some hitting bays; it’s about delivering a top-tier, almost shockingly accurate indoor golf session. And the reason it’s able to do that comes down to one thing: the Goldzone-powered simulator technology. Most simulator lounges rely on basic projection setups that measure only ball flight and speed. That’s enough to entertain casual players, but it falls apart for golfers who care about real feel, progression, and accuracy. Goldzone tech is in a different league. It’s not just tracking the ball—it’s tracking the relationship between club, turf, speed, angle, spin, face path, and lie. You don’t get cartoon physics or exaggerated distances. You get believable shot shapes, realistic misses, and feedback that actually helps you correct your swing. When you pure a 7-iron, it looks and feels like a pure 7-iron. When you chunk it, it punishes you the way the course would. That commitment to realism sets Fairway54 apart. One of the most impressive parts of the experience is how Goldzone simulates real-world lies and shot conditions. Most simulators give you the exact same flat mat experience no matter the course or hole. At Fairway54, the system mimics slopes, uphill lies, downhill lies, and rough conditions in a way that forces you to adjust just like you would outdoors. It feels more like training than playing a video game. You’re making real decisions—club choice, stance changes, trajectory adjustments—and the simulator rewards or punishes you as the course would. It’s incredibly refreshing and surprisingly immersive. The short-game experience is where Fairway54 really separates itself. Chipping and putting indoors usually feel like an afterthought everywhere else, but here they’re dialed in. Putts track smoothly and realistically. Chips react with believable spin and rollout. You can actually practice your touch instead of just guessing. For anyone who wants to get better year-round, this is a huge advantage. Fairway54’s membership model also makes the entire experience more accessible and useful. Instead of feeling rushed or pressured to get your swings in during a limited booking, you can come as often as you want and practice on your own terms. For busy golfers—which is basically everyone—that’s a game-changer. Having a place you can drop into after work, before a meeting, or late at night turns indoor golf from an occasional treat into a consistent training tool. Overall, Fairway54 is hands-down the best indoor golf experience in the area, and it’s not particularly close. The combination of a clean, private, well-designed space with the industry-leading accuracy and realism of the Goldzone simulator makes it feel like professional-level training disguised as a fun, year-round golf escape. Whether you’re practicing seriously or just playing for fun with friends, nothing else matches it.

I had a golf swing evaluation this morning that cost $95 (and that was the discounted price). While it was interesting to see where my swing needs improvement, I honestly didn’t feel like I got much value for what I paid—other than a sales pitch at the end. The lesson packages were quite expensive, ranging anywhere from $500 up to $3,000. On the positive side, the trainer was very friendly and clearly knowledgeable. I just wish the initial evaluation had been complimentary, given what was provided.
