- ZDZachary Draper3 days ago1.0Worst experience ever, I’ll never go back there and never recommend this place to anyone. Greg Hack was the worst. After my first swing he immediately brought up lessons and gave me his whole spill about that. I continue to hit, even though I was already slightly bothered. This wasn’t a lesson it was a club fitting. As I was hitting he would make little comments about my shots, and not good comments. I continued, then he stopped me and said you should widen your stance, it’s way too narrow. He showed me was I supposedly was, I disagreed, so then he said don’t you watch the PGA tour and see their stance. I said yeah I do, and I don’t believe my stance was as narrow as you said, he then said “Well I can tell you don’t take direction very well”. That’s when I lost it, and knew I wasn’t buying any clubs from this place. I guess in all reality it could just be the person I had for my fitting Greg Hack, GolfTec might not be the issue. If this is how Greg has been treating people for 25 years, then im sure there has been plenty of unhappy people.

Since then, we've continued to rebuild my swing and i have dropped my handicap below 10 and reshaped my entire swing for better accuracy and distance. Love the instruction I've been getting at Golftec, and results continue to progress.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
