  All I can say is about 30 years ago when I was there with my son and we have to be lucky enough to see the one time and one time only shockwave ever raced at Great lakes dragaway cuz it burned off the track that was approximately 30 to 35 years ago yesterday I took my two grandchildren 1 is 12 and one is 13 it was kind of a flash from the past had a very good time and I'm going to tell you something if you've never been to a drag strip that's a good place to go to that place has been around since I think the beginning of time I guess Broadway Bob is dead he was the original man out there I'm going to tell you something we had a great time they had wheel standards they had Jets vintage race cars they had nitrous cars they had funny cars they had a funny car jet car nitrous methane cars they even had miniature dragsters I guess that's something new for the younger people and I'm here to tell you don't worry about the price yesterday was the price was a little high for adults it was like I don't know 45 bucks maybe children 10 to 15 years old you ready for this they're like 12 bucks you want to have a good time with your children like I did with my grandkids take them out there The Price is Right crazy a bottle of Pop what's $3 you can't get it that you better convenience store the food was good plenty of space had an awesome time if you're not sure take your kids there there were lots of families and children and there's the pitch you can go in and meet the drivers and get autographs and free stuff it was just a hell of a good time located in Union Grove Wisconsin Great lakes dragaway! Oh yeah one other thing we're not talking just cars off the street are the fastest run that I heard and saw 260 something miles an hour in the quarter mile that's damn fast take your family take your kids have a great day it is a family outing I do suggest to either bring earplugs more noise canceling headphones as it does get extremely loud even way up in the back of the grandstands take my advice go out to you have a hell of a good time with your family even if you've never been to a drag strip before!

  Great lakes is always a great time. The longest operating drag strip in the country. Great family entertainment, great place to race our test n tune.
