  Fantastic dive shop with friendly, knowledgeable, experienced divers. I got my OW and AOW training with UC. I choose this shop due to the location of the pool dives which were held next door at the local high school. All the instructors that I have met through UC have been amazing, so kind, patient, encouraging and really cater to your personal skill set and ability. Mike, the dive shop owner, is super knowledgeable about the products he sells and won’t try to upsell you on expensive products you don’t need like most other shops. Communication has always been great. I recently had an issue with a burst o-ring in a tank I borrowed from the shop and Mike called me back within minutes to rectify the situation. As a new diver, I often email Mike with general questions about diving and to seek advice from a seasoned diver. He always gets back to me within a day with knowledgeable, honest advice. Despite living to a closer dive shop in Brookfield, I’ve been so happy with UC (which is a 20 minute versus a 10 minute drive for me) that I won’t go anywhere else for scuba products, training and just general advice on diving. It may not be the fanciest dive shop, but UC truly has a family atmosphere and a wealth of knowledge with great people who love to dive. I 10/10 recommend.

  My experience was excellent! I was very nervous about the mask skills and requested a one on one for the pool portion. They didn’t hesitate and teamed me up with an incredible instructor. Her knowledge, kindness and patience was truly what helped me succeed. I finished my open water with the same instructor, which helped me feel confident to move forward. It wasn’t easy, but she helped me conquer each skill one step at a time. Thank you Brenda!

  I would highly recommend this shop and their instructors. They did a fantastic job for my open water certification.
