  Fraudulent Membership Sales and Misleading Information They lie about membership details to get you to sign up, then claim it was just an "accident" when you catch them in the lie. The staff are cheap scammers who cannot be trusted. Save your money and go somewhere reputable.

  Good selection and lovely staff. Today I was asking lots of questions and looking for things which weren't on the shop floor. Moira was amazing and helped me with everything.

  Bike Mechanic yesterday was outstanding! Top gears started working again. Other mechanics said those gear would never shift properly again (and he explained what he was doing to help me try learn his ways).

  Went to return some items which I bought with cash it was little over 600 total. Cashier freaked out saying he has never done a refund this much before and called a manger to refund. Manager came and said she can only write a check because its over 500 and also they don't have any cash. She added where I bought it and told me why did't I go to bigger rei store to return it since they have the cash. First of all I did not know renton store too small to refund 600 and telling customer to go somewhere else to get the business done is over the line. I ended up walking out and no plan to going back to rei anytime soon. Just curious i want to ask people specially Asian people, am I the only one feeling not welcomed at rei, they will greet sometimes but white workers specially never come to you for a help, they will only come to me if i ask even then they will be like what do you want kind of attitude. It's how I felt through out 10 years shopping at rei let me know if I'm wrong

  They had amazing staff and the returns section was huge. I love that section. They helped me get better understanding on some gear and how to use it more effectively, I got a headlamp that I really like and is rechargeable and waterproof. When I say super helpful they answered every stupid question and scenario I gave them. Great new used shoes. My new used backpack and the staff that helped me with the return and allowed me to empty all my gear out in the store with no judgement. - If you carry a heavy load ie enough water and snacks for a hike out, make sure you get a stabilizer and back cradle, hiking in the PNW is not for the faint of heart. Between weather changes and air pressure your staff taught me a lot. I always keep a backpack packed in my car at all times for emergencies, and you guys gave me some great tips and a few cool things to remember. Helped me adjust my Garmin for the appropriate time and then showed me how to use it better for hiking. My posture is better, and no more hip pain.
