  As I'm only visiting the PNW area for a short time, I called with a last minute bike fix (stripped pedal thread in the crank arm). The bike shop maintenance crew was able to get my bike in the same day...and actually get the work done by the afternoon. It wasn't expected to be done for 2 days, which is still fast, but Mark was able to get it done between other set jobs. The staff were not only quick, but were helpful, kind and personable. I recommend anyone in need of bike maintenance to bring their bike to this shop. Thank you, gentlemen!

  Everyone in the bike maintenance area helped me so much and I was able to find a really good bike. They were sweet, goofy, knowledgeable, and very helpful! Thank you Grace Anne(sorry if I misspelled your name), Matty, Bailey, and everyone else whos name I was unable to grab. I really appreciated y'alls help!

  I had such a great experience at REI thanks to an incredibly helpful associate named Mary. I was looking for a HEST pillow that appeared to be out of stock, and despite it being an extremely busy weekend with sales going on, she went above and beyond to track one down that was still available. She never made me feel rushed and kept me updated throughout the process. Not only was she amazing, but every employee I interacted with was kind, communicative, positive, and genuinely eager to help. That welcoming attitude and shared passion for the outdoors is what makes REI stand out. It never feels like you’re just shopping in a store it feels like you’re talking with people who truly enjoy helping others get outside and have the right gear. Experiences like this are exactly why my family, friends, and I keep coming back to REI. The customer service is consistently exceptional, and the membership has been absolutely worth it. Thank you to the entire team for making every visit such a positive experience !

  Walked in a two employees greeted the man in front of me quite nicely. I said, “Hello.”, once they were near me and both made eye contact from that and then turned away to talk to each other. Somewhat rude but tolerable. Went and found the carabiner I was looking for and then went to look for a new Benchmade knife. I currently have one with a tanto blade and there was a similar one in the case. The same two employees offered assistance to others around me and just would look away when I looked to them for help. They would engage each other in conversation. No help there so I decided to check out. Two cashiers at the counter. One with a customer and one at a computer so I assumed not checking people out so I waited for the other to be available. A minute or two later the one without a customer noticed me and said, “Was looking up a return for a customer.” And went to a register to check me out. I am hoping that she wasn’t ignoring and instead was coming away from the task at hand to help someone waiting. There was no apology for the wait and no thank you for the purchase. No pleasantries in any way. I prefer to go to brick & mortar but with terrible customer service and outright rude employees, it makes me want to shop elsewhere and online.
