  Quality outdoor merchandise. High end, but shop clearance for deals. Be a member if you plan to shop there a lot.

  Awesome store. Favorite outdoor gear store I've ever been to. Helpful staff, good business model. The only thing that was a bummer was the lack of wet suits in my size but im weirdly small so that's kind of to be expected. The staff was willing to order products for me though, and even looked nearby at other locations to help accommodate what I needed. Signed up for membership and made some friends. Highly recommend. If you're a tiny chick in need of gear, find Amy. She understands the struggle and will be a huge help.

  Very good service! Bought the most expensive boots (me) for my hiking but it's the same price anywhere you buy them. I have one year to see if they work for me or not...

  I had a really disappointing experience at the REI in Silverdale. I drove over because Google showed the store was open until 7:00 PM, and it even indicated those hours had been confirmed recently. I arrived around 6:15 PM only to find the doors locked because the store had actually closed at 6:00. I knocked on the door to ask about the discrepancy. An employee came to the door, and when I explained that Google listed the store as being open until 7:00, her response was simply, “Well, look at what the sign says.” I mentioned that Google showed 7:00 and had recently confirmed those hours. She replied, “Google’s lying,” then turned around and walked away while I was still speaking. What disappointed me most wasn’t that the store was closed—it was the complete lack of customer service. A simple, “I’m sorry about that,” or “Thanks for letting us know, we’ll look into it,” would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude and no interest in addressing the incorrect information that caused me to make the trip in the first place. REI has always had a reputation for great customer service, so this interaction was surprising and disappointing. I hope management updates their online hours and reminds employees that a little courtesy can make all the difference.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful! They didn’t have a few pairs of shoes in my size that I wanted to try on, but the guy made up for it by going out the way to bring me a pair in my size and they were on clearance! Got the shoes:)
