  I had a wonderful experience at REI today! My partner and I went climbing and had a great time. Our staff member, Grant, was very kind, professional, and encouraging. Since it had been a while since I last climbed, he carefully reviewed all the safety instructions with us, which we really appreciated. For future climbers: climbing wall opens on Saturday and Sunday, and you may anticipate a bit of a wait.

  Jeff from the rental counter was amazing! He was very helpful and informative. We had a lot of questions for our camping rental items. He was very patient and walked us through everything! Thank you, Jeff!!

  More staff needed to help customers. I waited a long time just to get a backpack fitting because there's only one CSR in this area, and I couldn't find anyone free to help me with footwear.

  Disappointing Experience at REI – Terrible Customer Service and Long Wait Times We visited the store yesterday and ended up leaving empty-handed after a completely frustrating experience. We spent about an hour and a half trying to find suitable shoes. The floor staff seemed completely uninterested in helping customers or making a sale. To make matters worse, a large portion of the inventory they actually have in stock is not on display, making it nearly impossible to browse on your own. When we finally decided to buy, we were met with a massive line of about 30 people waiting, with only two cashiers open. After wasting so much time, we had no choice but to leave all our items at the register and walk out. It was a terrible shopping experience, and we will never return to this location.

  This place is cool and pretty and I love REI. Great products and people and support, I but so much fun here. But... The new parking system there is just brutal. You scan a QR code, go to a website (that doesn't always load in a parking garage), enter in a numeric location (which isn't auto populated by the QR code!!!), then you type your license plate number (which you have to go back for because - garage), then, usually, get an error page. Then you repeat several times. Then you give up and tell the person at the front who says "yeah, that's normal". Then you rush through shopping hoping nobody checks. This has happened 3-4 times. The website rarely works. If you're going to outsource parking, at least use a provider that has a working website!!
