  Everything in this store was made in China, shipped overseas, and wrapped in plastic but if I want a bag to protect my hoodie I bought from them so it doesn’t get dirty on the way home they won’t give me one to “protect the environment.” The posturing is gross.

  If it weren’t for online shopping and websites showing in-store inventory, shopping in person would be incredibly frustrating. I saw online that this store had a specific pair of sunglasses in stock, so I drove there specifically to try them on. When I arrived, I went directly to the sunglasses display, but there were no sunglasses from the brand I was looking for on the floor. I found an employee and asked for help. She simply pointed me toward the sunglasses display. I explained that I knew where they were, but the pair I came for wasn’t on display. She then told me they were probably out of stock. When I explained that the website showed them as available, she called another employee over to help me rather than checking herself. When the second employee arrived, I had to explain everything all over again. He opened the locked display case, but the sunglasses weren’t there either. I then had to specifically ask him to check the back inventory. He finally did—and sure enough, he found the exact pair the website said was in stock. What should have been a simple shopping experience became unnecessarily frustrating. I had already done the work of checking inventory before making the trip; I just needed someone willing to actually help locate the item. I’m glad I ultimately found the sunglasses, but customers shouldn’t have to repeatedly push employees to check inventory just to get basic assistance.

  Nordstrom for people who think they want to spend time outdoors or look like they want to spend time outdoors. Not what it use to be, but sometimes hits the spot.

  I received excellent assistance from Zion and at his recommendation, purchased 2 jackets. I've already worn the Kuhl Stretch Voyager, which is waterproof and breathable, and I really like it.
