  I dropped off my Kona Smoke commuter to get new drop handle bars. I dropped off shifters I got off eBay and some Surly corner bars. They fixed a massive laundry list of stuff on my bike and just knew what I wanted. I wanted a reliable fun bike and didn’t upsell me on anything! Example: chain and cassette are worn out. Mechanic said seems fine but bring it it when skipping gets to a point you don’t like it. The quality of the bar tape and setup is great! They added bar ends, they fixed brakes, stuff I didn’t realize I needed, but also didn’t cost me a bunch more. My old crusty bike feels amazing now. Stoked to ride my bike! Thanks!!

  While they have nice staff, I spent a lot of time and money on a repair that didn’t even last a year. They didn’t offer to fix their work, and it was not worth doing business with them.

  We’ve been buying our family’s bikes and getting them serviced at Jacks for over 20 years. Great selection of bikes. Excellent staff and the service is great. Just got my first e-bike from them and Ryan was very helpful with all of my questions.

  This is by far one of the best bike shops I’ve ever been to! Lucas and his colleagues were kind, professional, and provided great customer service (both in person and over the phone!). As a beginner biker, they never made me feel embarrassed about questions I had. They took time to explain and made sure all my concerns were addressed. Would recommend 100%

  Was recommended to go to Jacks for a wheel build for a front loader cargo bike. Brought them the spokes, rim, and old wheel for the hub. They built up the wheel and I thought the spokes were a little loose but they said come back after a month or two to get it touched up. I probably rode the bike ~30 miles and had ever spoke (every one!) completely loosen to hand tightness on a ride with both my kids. Wheel didn’t taco but the tire popped off. Low speed fortunately. I went back to have them fix up the wheel and they took it on without issue so good on them— but when I brought the re-trued/tensioned back home and mounted it, it’s got ~1-1.5cm vertical hop, and a non-zero amount of lateral wobble. Wheel is totally out of true. I don’t have a spoke tension meter but there did seem like some variance in spoke tension when checking by hand. Jacks seems like a good shop and they have a good reputation. They did stand behind their work and offered to have it re-trued again, so that’s a plus… but twice now the wheel didn’t come back right so it’s hard to trust them again. Im going to go to a different shop to have the wheel fixed.
