  My experience at this store was phenomenal, and I would highly recommend this REI to others who are looking for a personal and tailored experience that will help them reach their outdoor adventure goals. I cannot say enough good things about the staff who were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They made the experience. Walter, the gentleman who helped me with backpacks, had a wealth of information and worked incredibly hard to find something that would work for me. His knowledge and experience not only led me to the product I needed, but he also helped me understand why said product was right for my use case. He was also a just pleasure to talk to! Jake assisted me with shoes, and was once again able to give me the information about their selection which allowed me to come to my own decision as to what was right for me. When one option wasn’t perfectly right he was able to lead me in other directions based off of what I had found positive from the last. Eduardo also helped me with footwear, while simultaneously being able to offer thoughtful and insightful knowledge about my trip destination. His assistance was personal, and he used his own own unique experiences to inform my decision! Zach helped me understand how REI‘s membership could benefit me, and I ended up finding one of my major purchases of the day through their resupply program with his help. He gave me additional confidence in my purchases and helped me feel reassured that I would be supported by REI even after I had left the store. I came with the idea of a trip, and left with the tools to make it happen because of all the wonderful employees who assisted me.

  Traveling through from Arizona. We accidently left a pair of shoes at the last hotel so we needed a new pair. They are so friendly here! Very helpful and knowledgeable! It's a nice store with so many variety of things to choose from. I would recommend this store

  Like every REI I've been to, well-stocked store with everything you need for the outdoors and a knowledgeable staff with plenty of outdoor personal experience.

  We stopped here on an evening before closing time without any intentions of buying anything. We found ski helmets at a discount and was helped by the store manager Andy. He was very helpful and did not try and rush us out of the store even though it was closing. He also gave me a pack of Desert Storm trading cards from back in the day when I saw them on the counter and made conversation about them. We have been to this store before and will be back again when in Vermont.
