  On May 14th, six minutes prior to closing, my visit was made quite unpleasant by Joshua, the closing manager, who informed me in a condescending tone that the store would be closing shortly. My son and I were fully aware of the closing time, and my son knew precisely what he intended to purchase. We acquired our product within a minute. As I was proceeding to checkout, I encountered employees placing signs for an upcoming sale scheduled for the following day. I inquired if the 20% discount could be applied, assuming it would not be an issue given that the sale was less than 24 hours away. However, Joshua, and the checkout associate whose name I did not obtain, appeared to have an issue with this request. I highly value REI and have consistently received exceptional service from their establishments. Joshua's demeanor was notably condescending and unhelpful.

  I haven't been into an REI in years, and our local one is pretty fancy. It has mood lighting, all the employees have aesthetically pleasing corporate flair, and nothing smelled like patchouli campfire except maybe myself. What hasn't changed is their outstanding customer service. I needed to return an item I hadn't looked too closely at the specs for before buying and they took it back with no questions asked beyond my member number.

  Our first REI experience was with this location and it is AMAZING! They are totally into the outdoors and always excited to help you in whatever department you are in. The shoe department is always a little laggy, be prepared to wait, but the experience is always a good one and they have an abundance of outdoor things to satisfy every adventure. We DO NOT LIKE the bagless system. You can go in and spend $1000 easily and have to walk out to your car, dropping your items. HATE THIS SO MUCH!!!!!! Bring your own bag, even though this isn't woke Colorado or California....

  REI is a premium outdoor retailer that sells everything from outdoor sporting equipment to camping gear to the clothing required for said activities. I love going here to find the things I need and walking out with stuff I wasn't even aware existed. My only real complaint is how difficult it is to find the prices of an item. They are seemingly placed anywhere but where the item actually is. Otherwise, I'll continue to frequent REI as I restore my love for the outdoors.

  Probably the worst REI I have ever been too. It can do the job depending on your needs but definitely don’t expect a normal REI. If you want new/local go to Whole Earth Provisions. If you want used - eBay lol I have been a REI member since 2014. This REI is just a soulless, business/money focused shell of what REI is or wants to be in other cities. All marketing, none of the outdoor knowledge or community focused strategy of other REI’s. They are also going to try and shove the membership down your throat so be ready (mo memberships mo money). For example: I recently went to go buy/look for some garage sale shoes. All of them were still going for over $80 (regardless of condition). They were trying to sell shoes with soles falling apart for $90 claiming them to be “light use”. After I challenged the pricing, the manager “could only offer” 10% off. They than asked if I had a membership lol
