  Went to look at trekking bags. Bought a bag, became a member and will return to buy the rest.. the employees deserve 10 stars honestly. Best service I've had all year for sure. THANK YOU!

  The employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable about camping in the fun of being outdoors! My favorite store! Spoke to the manager several times and she leads by example

  Used to be the best recreation equipment shop in the country. Not any more. They still have better and best products. But now the difference in quality does not support the pricing policy

  I had an outstanding experience at the Plano REI. The staff was incredibly friendly and never made me feel rushed. They let me try on the HOKA waterproof shoes again to make sure I had the right size, and Gavin at checkout was especially kind and personable. He helped me join the REI Co op, and I received a $30 reward toward my next purchase. After I got home, I had some technical issues with the REI app, so I called the store. They manager was just as pleasant and patient over the phone as they were in person and helped me get everything sorted out. It’s refreshing to find customer service that’s this consistently excellent
