  I found GOLFTEC because I’d taken my golf game as far as I could on my own. I’ve been golfing for about 3 years, playing 2–3 rounds a week (usually scoring mid-90s) and hitting the range at least once in between. The only lessons I’d ever had were 3–4 sessions at Golf Galaxy, which was basically simulator time with a few minor suggestions. It explained why my swing was inconsistent, but there was no real long-term solution. After seeing the reviews for GOLFTEC, I was skeptical because they were so positive. But after one swing evaluation with Palmer, I was sold. He immediately helped me understand what was happening in my swing and how to fix it. The tech they use is extremely helpful — seeing your swing broken down on video makes it way easier to understand what needs improvement. Palmer is great at explaining swing mechanics in a way that actually clicks, and he breaks things down into simple changes you can apply while you practice. Being able to come in and practice on my own was also a huge bonus and saved me a lot of trips to the range. After the lessons, I gained at least 20 yards on all my clubs, but more importantly I’m hitting the ball more consistently and accurately. If you’re serious about getting better, spend the money. I’m having a lot more fun on the course now seeing the shots I can hit. I just wish I would have found it sooner to save myself from all the embarrassment I had on the course 😂

  Palmer was my coach at GolfTec Northwest San Antonio. He is a magician! He explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable. He had me doing a drill that fixed multiple swing issues at the same time. I would highly recommend Palmer to anyone serious about improving their game.

  Had my first lesson today and it was incredible to see what all goes into golf. Big shoutout to coach Palmer too, love everything about the guy and you can tell he really loves what he does. Wish him and GOLFTEC nothing but the best

  I was at a plateau in my game, so I decided to try something different to help me improve. I couldn't drive the ball or hit any of my clubs as far as I felt I should be able to. I joined Golftec in January of 2025. In the last few months I have been able to compress the ball better and get more distance on all my shots. I was still having problems with my driver until I did a fitting. I got my new driver, and I tried it for the first time this weekend. I used it for two days in a row. I was able to hit the fairway, or hit a playable ball far more than I ever had before. I also gained 30-40 yards of distance on my drives. I am a fan of Golftec's approach using technology to analyze a person's swing. It helps build an improvement plan based on your personal metrics. Thanks Coach Palmer Gifford! The rest of the staff is great too!
