In our devoted love for this historic and vibrant city we call Galveston, Carriage Haus Rentals is proud to provide a prototype of the famed 1908 Ford Model-T. This golf cart vehicle truly pays homage to Henry Ford, retaining much of his noble and charming vision. It must have been a real marvel to see hundreds of Model-T’s lined up all along the seawall back in the early 1900’s as their owners enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach. Veronica and Brett Von Blon (owners of Carriage Haus Rentals) hope that driving our electric golf carts around town will bring you back to a much simpler place in time. After all, we are pretty sure that’s why you crossed over the Causeway. Come rent an awesome vintage golf cart from us!

- CDCarla DJun 30, 20265.0If you’re looking for something different to do in Galveston, the Mob History Tour with Carriage Haus is an absolute must! We had an amazing time from start to finish. Riding around the island in the replica Model T made the experience even more fun, and our guide brought Galveston’s fascinating past to life with incredible stories about the Maceo era, casinos, bootlegging, and the colorful characters who helped shape the island.

Very unique experience & plan to book some of the other guided tour options in the future. Such a great time & very educational!
- MMMeghan MurrayJun 26, 20265.0We did the ghost tour. We had the most amazing tour guide Spooky Jin she was so knowledgeable and engaging. The amount of history we learned was absolutely amazing. We did have some paranormal activity while on our tour which scared me completely but it was still a good time. The whole family loved it. 10/10 recommendations for anyone wanting to do something fun, spooky and historic. Also riding around town in a fancy old golf cart was the icing on the cake.

We didn’t have the best weather for the beach so we checked into renting the cars. It was a great experience and the owner was super nice and gave us some interesting sites to check out. The car was very clean and easy to get around. I would highly recommend for a fun and reasonable expense.
