  I had such a wonderful experience at REI, and I truly appreciate the kindness and help I received there. As someone who is just beginning to get into hiking, I was a little unsure about what gear I needed for my upcoming trip. Mike was absolutely amazing! He was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and he took the time to listen to what I needed and help me find the right backpack and walking sticks. What I appreciated most was that he never made me feel like a beginner who didn’t know much. Instead, he made me feel comfortable, confident, and excited about my trip. It’s rare to meet someone who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and willing to help. Mike truly made my experience special, and because of him, I left REI feeling prepared and excited for my hiking adventure. Thank you, Mike, for your kindness and for making such a positive difference in my experience.

  Our cashier Collins was a great help in understanding the products we were purchasing and assisting us in locating items.

  If you want to have to walk to the front for help, then stand around waiting for the promised, then have that help ignore you and walk off, then have to go find more help, and eventually, you just give up and decide hiking barefoot is okay, then this is your store

  I had a great experience at REI, and I've gotta give a huge shout out to Mandi. I probably went up to him 10 different times with questions while I was shopping, and every time he was patient, friendly, and happy to help. At checkout, my car-kept declining, which was super embarrassing, but Mandi was incredibly kind and never made me feel awkward. He even stayed after closing, just to make sure everything was taken care of. You don't come across customer service like that very often Thanks again, Mandi. I'll definitely be back.
