  I’ve had a great experience with Loren at the GOLFTEC in Fort Worth at Montgomery Plaza. I’ve taken 6 lessons total over about a month so far. I had already started with GOLFTEC at another location before working with Loren, so this review is specifically about Loren and the Montgomery Plaza location. I’m a newer golfer with no handicap and I’m usually shooting somewhere around 110. My current goal is to break 100 within 6 months, and I’m about 3.5 months into that. What I’ve liked is that the lessons have been practical. After each one, I’ve left with something specific I understood well enough to work on right away. My swing is still basic, but it’s starting to look more like a real golf swing, and the changes have been useful on the course, not just in the simulator or on the range. Loren uses the GOLFTEC cameras and biomechanics data, but she doesn’t make it overly technical. She’s good at taking what the data shows and turning it into a simple adjustment I can repeat. She’s also given me drills I can do on my own, including some that don’t require a range or equipment. The technology has been useful mostly because of how convenient it is. Being able to review the lesson videos afterward is also helpful, especially with the GOLFTEC instructional library in the app. I paid about $1,200 for 16 lessons including the initial assessment. It seemed like promotional pricing, but my impression is that discounts are pretty common. I also didn’t feel pressured, though GOLFTEC is clearly built more around lesson packages than one-off lessons. I’m 10 lessons in so far and feel like it’s been worth it. Scheduling through the app has been easy, including while traveling for work. Overall, it’s been a good fit for me as a newer player. I think it works best if you’re willing to review the lesson videos and practice between lessons.

  I recently went to Golftec for a putter fitting, and honestly, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. I came in expecting a detailed, personalized fitting experience—something that would actually help me understand my stroke and improve my putting. Instead, the session felt rushed and surface-level. There wasn’t much real analysis or meaningful adjustment, and I didn’t leave with any new insight that I couldn’t have figured out on my own. For the price you pay, you’d expect a more thorough breakdown, better communication, and a fitter who’s genuinely invested in helping your game. Unfortunately, it felt more like going through the motions than a true fitting experience. If you’re serious about dialing in your putter, I’d recommend looking elsewhere or doing some research before booking here. Definitely not what I was expecting.

  Working with Garrett has been a pleasure, he has corrected my swing flaws, and I can see the difference in my play. I would highly recommend Garrett to anyone looking to improve their game

  My golf instructor Garrett Wright is excellent !! Also, amazed with the way GoftTec uses the latest technology in analyzing my swing. Just wished I would have done this years ago.
