I had the opportunity to hunt axis deer on this ranch and I had an amazing time! My 2 brothers and I were able to get an axis and 2 hogs on our stay. The food was amazing and our guide Cody was very helpful and did everything he could to help me get a deer on our second day out! This place is awesome and I will definitely be back for another hunt 10/10 service! We had the pleasure of meeting Daniel and Ryan as well on our stay and they were both very friendly. All around great people. Thank you for everything!

Overall was fair experience because we all tagged out and I always enjoy hunting with my friends. The lodge was magnificent the food was great cook was wonderful guide Cody was cool and fun to ride around with he was bit quiet but always gave us info when we asked and helped us find the best rams. I believe he was new so I get it get the quietness. Owner seemed like a very nice guy and (although we only chatted for a second he was gone rest of our trip which was no big deal). The beds bathroom were great no complaints there. We saw plenty of animals every sit. Even in our midnight sitting animals everywhere. My only true complaint is when I go on hunts it’s about friendship meeting new people telling lies and sharing story’s after a hunt and just the camaraderie that it creates with new people. I have been to many ranch’s/outfitters and left feeling like I made life long friends with my guides. Many whom I still talk to on regular today after years. I don’t even know if these guys knew our names. Here from the moment the gate was unlocked it felt nobody really wanted us there or cared if we were there. Cody was only one who shook our hands. orientation felt miserable and demotivating. The one older “guide” Clinton shared very little insight or help on anything. Conversations were beyond limited. Rides to blinds at night were silent unless we talked to each other. Back in lodge between hunts it was just quiet unless we talked with our own group. At dinner table the cook (who was great) was only one who’d talk to us. I shot a hog I liked had great color and good size I was/am proud of. My buddy said “wow that’s great hog nice color” I said yeah I’m stoke guide just kind of said whatever or meh. Like bro if your client is happy be happy for them add some excitement to the moment don’t ruin it. A buddy hadn’t tagged out so we were discussing options of where to sit for final night hunt trying to get some insight from Clinton he just said “he didn’t know or care where we sat”. Like what? Isn’t that your job? I understand its a business and money is important but it felt like that was all that was cared about here. I have been to camps where guides had meetings about where to place people what sights are hot and came up with strategies to help people tag out. Here they just drive to to any random spot with no thought. Price listings for stuff were everywhere you looked. In blind in lodge on wall in bedroom. I don’t mind paying for things I’m not asking for free by any means but I was charged $30 for 3 zip lock bags I could have bought for $3 at Walmart. They recommend $250 tip but on top of that you also pay your guide $125 to skin and de-bone your animals. Every other ranch outfitters I’ve done the guides automatically cleaned and de-boned talked to you drove you gave advice shared stories and that’s why you tipped them good. I would have cleaned my own stuff for that matter. So you are tipping for NO conversation, NO advice, No guidance just a driver for 3 minutes in morning 3 minutes in afternoon. Hell I’d rather walk and save the money. Every question asked to one of the guides felt like it was a hassle to him like we bothered him and that was if he even responded. Multiple times I asked something and got nothing. Only hand shake I got from one guide was when I paid to leave. Very unfortunate. I had some items mounted they have hook up for taxidermy but be prepared to pay in full immediately before even talking with taxidermist about what you’d like had to tell Clinton. I don’t mind paying up front but I’d like to talk about options and design not just left right or center Id probably hunt there again if I wanted something specific and easy but I know what to expect now is all unfortunately. If it wasn’t for one guide I’d have felt so much better about everything even though and I’ll give him benefit of doubt maybe he was just having bad week I don’t know.

18 of us in total went here for a friends bachelor trip. From the moment we got there it just felt like we were somehow an inconvenience to some of the guides. The only real positive is the food is great. Clinton (one of the guides) had no patience and could have cared less if we were there or not. He took people’s seats in the common area when they got up to use the restroom and didn’t care to get up when they came back and forced them to reach over him to grab their drink and phone and move to a different couch. The biggest issue that we all had though was the fees that are not talked about initially. We got the package through whitetail unlimited and was supposed to be a 3 day all inclusive hunt that included up to 2 pigs. What isn’t explained is that there is a guide fee per hunter and that skinning of the hogs isn’t included in the price so you will pay additional for it. It was cool seeing some of the wildlife but the hogs are severely over-hunted and small. Luis (another guide) was great as he just carried on normal conversation and was very polite the entire time with us. I wouldn’t recommend this place to people just due to the nickle and diming factor with hidden fees and charges that they have.
