In honor of Father’s Day I reserved a lane for my husband, my two teen/young adult children and myself for 12:00 PM to the tune of just short of $100. We arrived slightly before 12 o’clock. Imagine our surprise when we pulled into the parking lot, walked up to the door to find it locked with the burglar bars still down. We waited several minutes and finally returned to the car and called customer service who confirmed that the Bowling alley should have opened at 11 AM. The door and the website say they open at 12 PM, but oh well! That’s a big difference! Depending on how you look at it they were an hour late opening. Two different customer service agents called and were unable to reach anyone at AMF Lanes in DeSoto. The customer service agent said I MAY get a refund in 7-10 days if the refund is approved. Really? Wow! So here is the update. Within an hour or so I received a call from Octavius Flay, the Manager for the Area. He was so kind and gracious. He made it right with no excuses. He caught this falling star. Our family will definitely be back.

Again, staff was attentive but the bowling lanes need mechanical work. So I won't be coming back for that reason.
