  This was my first time visiting the store, and I originally came in because of a sale on a pair of Hokas. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I was assisted by Lysette, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. At first, it looked like the store might not have the shoes I wanted. I tried on another pair, but the color just wasn’t right for me. While helping me search, Lysette took the time to chat with me about the store and explained the benefits of the REI membership, which I appreciated since it was my first visit. When I told her I was probably going to pass on the shoes because of the color, I was ready to leave but Lysette stopped and said she wanted to check one more time. I’m so glad she did because she found the exact pair I had been hoping for! I was thrilled. Thanks to her excellent customer service, I decided to go ahead and sign up for an REI membership since I plan on shopping here more often. Lysette really went above and beyond for me, and she made my first experience at the store a great one.

  One of the greatest department stores I've ever been to. All the customer service reps are solid and helpful ( Ethan, Terra, Essence and others) I also appreciate all the discounts REI has and I'm glad they put one in College Station 👍

  THE BEST REI IN THE USA!!!! Thank you to Craig who made our experience 💯 enjoyable. From the moment we entered he and the rest of the staff helped us with every question and need. They took the time to appropriately size us for backpacks and sleeping bags. I promise you I've never been so well taken care of at a store. They also made sure to help us get the most amount of discounts. I honestly think it was one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. Definitely recommend going on a Monday afternoon like today. Last comment is that the space is huge and they have a ton of stock. It was really nice to see so many options. Another shout out for the clean bathrooms!

  I’ve been to numerous REI locations, but the service at this one was truly top notch. It wasn’t about just selling me something — they took the time to make sure I understood the product and that it was the right fit for what I needed. That kind of customer service really stands out. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for knowledgeable and helpful staff!!
