Every time I leave I feel like I’ve had a major breakthrough in my swing. Chris Karcher is a swing mechanics genius and seems to have an eye and a drill for every dysfunction in my swing.

From the moment I first walked in, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome. The facility is outstanding—professional, comfortable, and equipped with amazing technology that makes it possible to really see and understand what you’re doing with your swing. What has made the experience truly exceptional, though, is the coaching. Coach James is an outstanding instructor. He is knowledgeable, patient, positive, and incredibly encouraging. He has a wonderful ability to explain things in a way that makes sense, especially for someone who is still learning the game. He never makes the process feel intimidating or overwhelming, and I leave every lesson feeling more confident and excited to keep improving. I especially appreciate how genuinely invested Coach James is in helping me learn and progress. He celebrates the small improvements, gives me specific things to work on between lessons, and makes the entire experience enjoyable. His enthusiasm for golf and for teaching is contagious. The entire team at GOLFTEC also deserves recognition. The other gentlemen who work there always make me feel so welcome whenever I come in to practice, even when I’m not there for a lesson. Everyone is friendly, encouraging, and genuinely happy to see you. It’s obvious that they truly love what they do, and that positive energy creates such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere every time I walk through the door. I’m so glad I chose GOLFTEC and feel incredibly fortunate to have Coach James as my coach. I’m really looking forward to continuing my lessons, improving my game, and seeing how far I can progress. Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
