- DNdaryl nevelingJul 15, 20265.0I am in my sixties and have been playing golf for a number of years. I was a decent golfer shooting in the upper 70s to low 80s until a few months ago when something went wrong in my swing and my scores were in the upper 80s to 90s.. I tried and tried to figure it out myself with no luck. I've never had a lesson but I was at the point I was either going to quit golf or go get a lesson so I booked my swing evaluation. My instructor was Joseph Nall. After a few swings he showed me my golf swing on the video it started with a few suggestions and changing some things in my swing and things started to come back. I ended up buying a lesson package. We began to rework my swing and I started seeing improvements right away. His knowledge and patience was a really good fit for me. I found power that over the years I had lost. The carry on my 7-iron went from 165 to 185. When we started if I hit a good drive it went 225 to 230. When we finished I'm now able to hit 250 carry yardage. After the fifth lesson I went back to the course and my scores were in the low 80s again. After the eight lesson I went out and shot 65. My average scores are back in the mid-70s and I couldn't be happier. I can't think Joseph and GolfTEC enough for giving me my game back. I was really skeptical with the things their ads said they could do, but Joseph did all of that and much more.

The whole time though the fear of a fade becoming an out of control slice was always there. After only 2 lessons, and yes a lot of work in between, Joseph has changed my take away and my swing is becoming much closer to inside out. I now never worry about “losing” a shot. Thanks for the technology and thanks for Joseph!

I started lessons with Robert Johns in the summer if 2025, got fitted for clubs in August, and now I am finishing up my 2nd package of lessons. I have seen remarkable improvement in my golf game and with that, I will be continuing lessons with Robert for the foreseeable future. Great process and experience with GOLFTEC. Also, the app is really cool

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
