  Came in to purchase Hoka hiking boots, the employee at the shoe section did everything in their power to not help me. Decide to take my $300 dollars elsewhere to buy boots. Won't be back. The rest of the employees in the store were friendly, unfortunately the employee in the shoe department just didn't want to help the customer with the pro Christian American shirt. They were more then happy to help the other customers.

  The woman with the dark short hair in the shoes department literally knows nothing about the boots/shoes… after trying to on multiple shoes and asking questions with no knowledgable responses we left empty handed. Later on. went to a different store were we found the correct fitting shoe after that women told us if REI they were not even worth trying on. MOVE HER TO THE TENT DEPARTMENT.

  While it's true that prices are higher than online, the service you get from the knowledgeable staff is worth it. They have the gear in stock and their staff knows all about it.

  Item I was looking for was in stock but the staff was rude. Cashier asked if I am a “member”, I’m not. I wasn’t offered to join as a member, she gave me the price, I paid. She laid the item on the counter, laid the receipt on top & walked off.
