  I had a fantastic experience looking and purchasing a child’s carrier pack from Cameron. He was incredibly knowledgeable and delivered great customer service. On the contrary, the bike shop worker who was disgruntled and approached my husband and 3 year old ruined the rest of our experience. To start there is zero signage stating not to touch the bikes. My son, under the supervision of my husband, sat on a bike with training wheels to see if he was ready to upgrade from his REI balance bike to the next. The worker approached us upset saying we were not allowed to ride the bike around the store. My son moved the bike roughly 2 inches trying to get his feet adjusted on the pedals. We complied and put the bike back. Kids aren’t the problem, the worker was. Cameron 11/10 Bike shop worker 0/10 Do better with hiring.

  Great store. Leanne in the shoe department is the most knowledgeable expert I’ve EVER interacted with…and I’m 46 years old. Clean store, organized.

  I went in to REI today to look at shoes and was immediately blown away by the kindness and care by the staff, I was treated by Sarah who made sure I felt fully comfortable and helped answer every question I had regarding shoes and insoles, and helped guide me towards the best options for my feet, as well and writing things down so I am able to order them when the next sale happens, when I mentioned I was also curious about a good rain jacket she instantly knew the perfect person to help me and personally introduced me to Maggie who once again made sure I was comfortable and helped answer all my questions. Both really got to know me as a person and not just a sale, and I absolutely appreciate them both from the bottom of my heart. To Sarah and Maggie thank you for making me feel seen and heard and not passing any judgment. To the higher ups at this REI, thank you for allowing your team to blossom and you will forever have a loyal REI shopper. Thank you again and I can’t wait to order my new shoes and rain jacket. 100/10 definitely will be back!! ❤️❤️❤️
