  I recently visited Trek Germantown for a bike tune-up after purchasing a Trek bike from another retailer. I had received an email directly from Trek stating that my first tune-up would be complimentary, and I mainly wanted to make sure everything was assembled and functioning properly, especially since my brakes had started squeaking. Unfortunately, when my husband and I returned to pick up my bike, the customer service we received from Amelia was extremely disappointing. She started by telling me that my “little bike was ready,” which immediately came across as condescending and unnecessary. She then refused to honor the complimentary tune-up Trek had emailed me about. It wasn’t until a manager became involved that the service was acknowledged and honored. What really solidified the poor experience was when I handed Amelia my phone so she could view the email from Trek. When she was finished, I had my hand out to receive my phone back, and instead of simply handing it to me, she tossed it onto the counter. That interaction was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. My husband is a frequent customer at this location, and part of the excitement of me getting a Trek bike was knowing that we had a local Trek store nearby that we could rely on for service and support. Unfortunately, Amelia’s attitude and the way we were treated completely changed that experience for us. A simple tune-up that should have been a positive introduction to Trek Germantown instead left me feeling belittled and unwelcome. I hope management takes this seriously because no customer should be made to feel that way, especially over a service that Trek itself offered.

  Products are of great quality. Service is awesome. Made you feel welcomed, open to try and test any bike before making a decision, and answered all my questions.

  The lineup of bikes was great, it took some deliberation but my son found one that he is absolutely in love with. Travis answered my phone call promptly and helped my family navigate our way to the store front (we are brand new to Germantown). Jeremy measured my son and made his recommendations, which we heeded as… he is, the best. Over the next 2 days we found ourselves navigating switching gears and handbrakes. A great time was had by all. Additionally, we happened across Mr. Jeremy at the park during one of our ride and play sessions. It was very thoughtful of him to check up on his new member of team Trek. Outstanding customer service sir. We’ll be back! A pleased customer, -Rich

  I recently ordered an E bike, and when it was delivered, the air valve and inner tube were disconnected from the tire. I was charged a reasonable price, and the tire was fixed within a reasonable amount of time. It was a very smooth situation and this is the only place I will think of if I need something done to my bike!

  Trek always takes great care of my 2020 Trek Émonda ALR 5 Disc — 58 cm — Purple Flip! I needed new tires after having two flats on my last Major Taylor Pedals & Passports Detroit, MI ride. With another ride scheduled for the next morning, I needed it done same day. Trek took care of me with two Continental GP5000 28C and 700×28C tires (plus 2 more for saddle bag). I was good to go! It made for a much smoother confident ride the next morning MHBC WRCR Rossville, TN!
