  Our favorite day of our vacation so far. What a great experience we had with Natalie, Jerry, Adam, Thresa and John. Natalie was a sweetheart, guiding us safely down the river. This was my husband and son's first time and they loved it. We did the rafting, rather than the tubing, and for them, I think this was best given their inexperience. A nice stop along the way for snack and refreshments was a good breakup of the trip and our son loved the rope swing despite the cold water. Would highly recommend doing this adventure with your family!

  My family had a blast on the raft. Adam was a great guide. Highly recommend taking the plunge!

  11/10. Great experience. Daniel is a great guide. Very informative and knowledgeable of the route and safety wise. My first time white water rafting; will not be my last.

  Our family had an amazing trip down the Watauga River with our guide Daniel! He was knowledgeable, skilled, and had a great sense of humor. It was our 1st time white water rafting and the level of difficulty was perfect! The check in process was quick and easy, with a short ride to the starting point. We finished where we had parked our car, so no long ride back! You can cool off in the creek or ride the rope swing during a quick rest stop! In addition to me, my husband, and two grown sons, we were able to bring our 5 year old grandson and our pup, who both had a great time time! Definitely recommend!

  Went out 8/6/18 with Micah. He was amazing!! We had so much fun!! Will definitely be back to do the rafting again, maybe next time we will try the kayaking also. Micah was so friendly and knowledgeable, answered all our questions and then some! I will say, I’m glad we choose Watauga Kayak over other outfitters on the river! It ended up being “the best rate on the river” and the longest trip compared to other outfitters.
