  I didn’t come here to ski, I was here for an TAC. And I would highly highly recommend it for TAC. It makes me want to come back for ski season!

  I had a great time visiting this mountain during my winter travels through the area. The chairlifts are incredibly fast and modern, which means you spend way more time sliding down the snowy slopes rather than sitting around getting cold. The views from the top of the peak are absolutely stunning, stretching out across the beautiful hills and valleys for miles. The ticket prices and equipment rentals are also very reasonable compared to the massive resorts further west, making it a wonderful stop for a family or solo traveler on a budget. My only minor complaint is that the rental and ticketing lines inside the lodge were pretty disorganized and slow to move in the morning, but once you finally get out onto the trails, the skiing experience is totally worth it.

  I love taking my family to Terry’s Peak Ski Area! The main lodge is so easy to ski in and out of, making everything super convenient. The ski instructors and the entire lesson group are amazing—friendly, helpful, and great with all ages. And after a day on the slopes, Dark Horse is probably my favorite spot to grab a bite.   Highly recommend private ski lessons at Terry Peak Ski Area—especially for young kids and first-time skiers! We signed our kids up for private lessons and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Our youngest (3) was paired with Will—an absolute saint. He was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring, working at her pace and helping her build confidence by the end of the lesson. Our oldest (5) had Sandy, who was also fantastic. She took the time to understand her needs, build her confidence, and keep her focused—even when her first time on the slopes felt a little overwhelming. The facility was clean, organized, and very family-friendly. Even with end-of-season crowds, everything ran smoothly. Every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to rentals, gift shop, and bar—was friendly and welcoming. Perfect place for beginner skiers and families—we will definitely be back!
