  Josh at REI thoughtfully helped me pick out hiking shoes for my first ever hike and boy oh boy did those shoes end up saving me multiple times! Absolutely the best choice. Thanks for saving my life Josh!

  Despite being very busy during their Labor Day sale, we got great service in the footwear department. Their selection of hiking boots is exceptional so it was easy to find just what we were looking for.

  I went to purchase a backpacking pack for an upcoming trip and was completely blown away by the level of service I received. Vince was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to not only help me find the best backpack for me, but also to show me how to use every feature of the backpack and make sure I understood how to adjust it. In general, the staff are so willing to help and share their expertise, without making you feel unknowledgeable or self-conscious.

  The place is great. You can find most of the sports gear here. A little on expensive side but quality is really to look forward to

  I went into the KOP location today to get fitted for a backpacking pack with 2 other people and was helped by David. Not only was he amazing in getting us all set up with multiple packs but adjusting them to ensure the highest level of comfort. He encouraged us to take a lap around the first floor and walk the stairs to make sure things sat correctly on your specific anatomy which we were all super appreciative of! Very pleased with the service David provided as well as the selection REI has to offer.
