  Curtis at the Conshohocken, PA store was incredible. I arrived asking for help to diagnose an issue with a Yakima lock on my Rack and Roll trailer. He offered to help, runs to his office and emerges with a tool box. After an initial failed attempt, he ran back to his office, found more tools and fixed the trailer lock. It was 95 degrees outside, and the end of the day on the 4th of July. Instead of giving up, he repeatedly tried to help and shared great insights on how to manage Yakima locks. This employee deserves recognition! Great customer service! Thanks, REI! 👏👏👏

  I spent nearly a month trying to track down a replacement battery for my REI Co-op Generation e1.1, they’re discontinued and nearly impossible to find. Curtis in the bike shop went completely above and beyond. He took the time to explain exactly how my battery works, why there’s a supply issue, and then actually located a used one for me. He was patient, knowledgeable, never rushed, and made sure I understood everything. This is the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore. Thank you Curtis!

  I bought boots for $220 in April it’s only may so literally a month ago the strings came apart and the boot split in the front i went to return them because they told me I had 1 year to return them if anything went wrong with them, I paid the $30 to be a member the end result is they went against everything they told me and made up a reason to not get me new pair of boots I would go without before I went there again.
