I just wanted a pair of bike gloves but then I have to hear some dude who clearly hates his life behind the counter try to sell me a membership when I want to just buy a pair of biking gloves and never enter your store again. After asking if I was interested in a membership I said no and he kept telling me more about it. When someone says no, they mean no and you should respect that when they are buying something from you.
- MMMMay 16, 20261.0During my visit to the store, a staff member initially assisted me in bringing a couple of pairs of shoes to try on, which I appreciated. However, after I was no longer able to find her, there were three other REI employees assisting other customers nearby. Once they finished helping those customers, all three of them walked past me and one even made eye contact, but none of them offered assistance. I attempted to get their attention, but they continued moving past without engaging. I found this experience disappointing, as it felt like I was being overlooked despite clearly needing help.
