  For a city course two thumbs up. Greens are best around and staff is unbelievable. Recommend to play.

  I played my first round there almost 40 years ago, and recently played in an outing there and was pleasantly surprised. The layout is pretty much unchanged, and the course was in great shape; the entire property is well-maintained. "Good" golfers might not find the course particularly challenging, but our group sucks at golf so it was perfect for us.

  I have played Briardale for years walking, but this year I was told that the golf course closes at 6 to 6:30pm. Which is odd because you still have 2hrs or more of daylight. I can understand tee times for riders being cut off, but walkers should be able to play until dark with out restrictions. I can't get to the course until after 7:00pm and the door is locked so I was told when that happens you can't play. I don't know any golf course that closes that early in mid summer. Also you sell packages that don't start until 6:00pm weekdays and 4:00 on weekends, that doesn't mean that I have to be there @ that time. I will respect the rules of your golf course and will find somewhere else to play.
