  I recently had a fantastic customer service experience at REI and wanted to make sure Jaylin and the store manager, Lisa, received recognition for it. As an REI Co-op member and REI credit cardholder, I’ve purchased several REI Flexlite Boss Camp Chairs over the past three years and have been very happy with them. Unfortunately, one of the chairs failed. Even though it was clearly outside the warranty period, Jaylin and Lisa went above and beyond by agreeing to replace it. In today’s disposable-product market, it’s refreshing to see a company stand behind the products it sells and empower its employees to take care of customers. Good camping gear should be made to last and it’s great to know that REI is willing to stand behind it when it doesn’t. Experiences like this are exactly why people stay loyal to a company and continue to support it as Co-op members and customers. Thank you, Jaylin and Lisa, and thank you, REI, for the excellent customer service. -Craig

  I was given phenomenal service by the staff at REI at Easton. Went simply for a bike rack, & Joe showed me the value of the REI Co-op membership to benefit a future bicycle purchase. Will be returning going forward.

  Great experience today at Columbus (Easton) REI store selecting hiking shoes. Due to a combination of conditions, my days of buying whatever is on sale have become the days of finding well-structured and expertly fitted footwear. The REI team member (Darrell) was very knowledgeable, recommended suitable options, and carefully explained the advantages of each of his suggestions.
