I showed up to purchase a product I’ve purchased before in this store as well as other products and tried to use my loyalty rewards for our household, but because my wife’s name is on the account they would not let me use my eight dollars to purchase this product. I shop at many other stores where there’s loyalty points and those are based on households. Not REI. Very poor way of doing business. So my 25 minute drive to and from this store was a waste of time. I will never shop here again. Buyer beware. When they talk you into the loyalty program, just understand that it’s not based on a household.
