- RSRichard Sullivan3 days ago5.0I picked up an online order for a Thule Cargo Box. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful to pick up this item. Also, I had an opportunity to walk around the store. The store is extremely clean and well organized. It had many items for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, running, etc.

The store was in shambles. I gave up looking through the pants, which were on a shelf wall. It was a total mess. No one was on the shop floor to help. I went up to the register and told the young man that it was a mess and I couldn't find what I was looking for. His reply was "yeah, it's a mess over there." He did not offer to help, just agreed it was a mess. I was later told the store was going to be updated, but does that mean customer service was canceled? I was so disappointed and don't know if I will ever return.

- SHScott HultstromJun 5, 20261.0Had a bad time here today. I went to use my points as explained to me and it was not as expected and explained. Ended up costing over $100 more for the things I needed to purchase. Two REI employees explained how the points work one way, a third employee could not explain them and told me I had to call REI support and the last REI employee explained how they work. The process just cost me a half an hour in the parking lot and $113.21. Planning on waiting a week to cool down and if I still feel this way about how REI cost me money I will cancel my REI Membership and shop elsewhere. For these reasons I would not recommend shipping at REI or having a membership there.
