  Awesome staff, clean store. They have a decent selection of goods and brand names. The shoes section staff (department I have visited frequently) is ultra-helpful. They also have a section of clearance priced goods.

  When I was very poor and didn't know about quality things, I didn't know why REI was good. Now I know why it is good.

  So dang pushy with the membership pitches at checkout. Said no 5 times, I only had 2 items and they were purposely taking forever checking me out just to keep pitching. You’d think no means no after the 5th time. What a turn off. Never coming back will go to Dick’s instead.

  The gentleman at the bike shop was very helpful. He used his master keys to try and help me find the key to my bike rack. He did say he was missing a few and referred me to another place close by. So glad he did because that place was able to find the key for me. Awesome service!

  I have to shoutout Jan, an actual angel! Jan helped me about 3 weeks ago when I was very last-minute planning for a weeklong walk on el Camino. Not only did Jan ensure I was fitted with the perfect shoes, she also helped set me up with other gear I needed (most of it, I didn't even know I needed!). My Camino was so much more comfortable and easeful because of her above and beyond assistance. Thank you again Jan!
