  REI is my go-to shop for all things outdoors related. From camping to mountain biking, they have everything that you could ever need to make your experience as smooth as possible. 5/5. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.

  This is my second time shopping at REI , at two different locations, in a couple of months. Both times I dealt with the friendliest, most professional, and most experienced associates. They go above and beyond to ensure that you get what you need and are satisfied with your purchase. I can't recommend them enough!

  I love this REI store! I went there today needing to restring my tent poles. I had watched the videos, but felt very apprehensive to do it on my own. Andre showed me how to do it and helped me when I got stuck. I feel so empowered having mostly done it by myself (with a lot of help and encouragement from Andre). Thank you!

  Went into REI for the first time to buy backpacks and had no idea what we were looking for. Alvaro was a total superstar — patiently answered every question we threw at him and helped us find exactly the right backpacks for our needs. He clearly knows his stuff and genuinely cares about getting customers the right gear, not just making a sale. We were still talking about how great he was on the drive home. Ask for Alvaro if you need help — you’re in good hands!

  Great selection and the prices are fair. Check out the returned stuff downstairs in the back left corner. I got a $230.00 Patagonia jacket for eighty bucks. It just had some loose stitches. The cashier told me that I could send it off to Patagonia for repair. (It only costs fifteen bucks.) Most employees are super sweet; some are just indifferent and you will have to ask for help. Fellow customers are odd. I feel like they are in a glass case. They seem neutral while neutrally dressed and like background characters in any movie not starring Aubrey Plaza. Return policy is fantastic. Membership pays off. The aforementioned jacket was an extra twenty-six bucks off because of accrued points. Plus, you will get several 20% off coupons throughout the year. On top of that, REI branded items get really positive reviews. They are always included in “best of” roundups online. The only thing that stopped my daughter’s REI pack was DIY flooring tile glue residue. (I have not worked on that problem as of yet.) If you need to try on backpacks, REI has weighted items for you to add to the packs for a more realistic fitting. This is especially great for petite people like me. However, REI has stopped giving out bags for purchased goods. The cashier put a ton of stuff in a plastic bag that was scaled down to doll size. Of course, some of the products fell out after walking out of REI. The shopping experience there requires you to go back to your car to dump the stuff off. That can be kind of annoying. May I suggest: paper bags with handles made of pre-loved love notes and “Backpacker” mags from the late eighties? REI- Really Enjoy It.
