- SLSamantha LincolnAug 10, 20261.0I came here to purchase hiking boots for an upcoming trip and was incredibly disappointed by the entire experience. The sales associate in the hiking shoe section was somehow condescending while not being helpful at all. For example, I asked her if I could see two different sizes of a shoe, as I tend to be in between sizes, and she lectured me to not put a different size on each foot, which was incredibly bizarre. She also brought out a different shoe model than the one I had showed her and asked to try on two times. Both of these times the shoe model she presented was more expensive than the model I had asked for. The entire time she was working with me she made me feel as though I was unwelcome and wasting her time. She seemed to make it a point to be warmer and more accommodating to other patrons of the store. I ended up leaving without buying anything because I felt so uncomfortable simply asking her questions.

We are in the middle of a cross-country move when the tent pole for our 2-year-old’s SlumberPod (the blackout tent that goes over her portable crib) broke. Peter went above and beyond trying to track down a tent pole splint—a pretty random item—to help us get through the rest of our trip. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help. We really appreciated the outstanding customer service!
