Definitely a Casino with no pay outs !! Horrible, I decided no to step in this casino anymore, game machines will not give you very much even when you bet the maximum, I always bet 5.00 or more and never get a good pay out , I have seen people betting 18.00 and more and not getting anything , 7 Street Casino with no doubt is the best Casino in Kansas City with great pay outs 100% . It seems like Argosy being a big Casino all what it does is take people’s money !

READ THIS!! BED BUGS - horrible service
Our Family arrived and checked in late, we checked out the hotel then went to our room to settle in. We got some food delivered to our room before bed. Our daughter went to the restroom and when she returned she said Dad! There is a bug in my bed come kill it. I discovered it was a bed bug right away and had everyone jump up and gather our things. I pulled back the sheets and bed bugs big and small were scrambling. Their feces were visible on the mattress all over. This goes to show staff simply changes the top sheet and does not look under the mattress pad. As we scrambled to leave the room I did not get as many photos as I would have liked but did capture a few so you know what to look for. This journey gets worse.
I captured one in a bottle and went to the front desk. They did not have any other rooms with two beds available as it was 11:30 pm now. We were going to leave but they offered a %50 off price and a $50 restaurant voucher to stay in the smaller room and for the inconvenience.
- we had to go through protocol, inspections of all our luggage, scolding hot showers and send our clothes to laundry for a heat kill. By this time it was 1:30am.
There for a sports tournament, it already ruined a good nights sleep.
I pulled back sheets in the new room and inspected and found no bugs but the mattress was stained and gross.
🤮
After returning home it has been a month and we were never credited half our stay as promised. Hotels.com said they reached out and denied the request and offered a measly $60 voucher. At this point it is important to know that I only write a bad review if all other avenues have failed in making a situation right. I did not make a scene at the lobby and we simply made the best of it. At this point I am ready to contact an attorney. All requests to speak with management were denied and the hotel personnel we were able to talk have done everything to prevent us to speaking to anyone higher up. Not only were we lied to, we and you yourself could become victims of their bad policy, service and like us Bed Bugs. Whether you are thinking đź’ of staying here to gamble or like us booking a room for a sports event. Do your self a favor and skip this place as it is just not worth it. I am attaching photos for reference. We had high hopes and you probably do too. I hope this saves you from a nightmare.

The condition of our rooms were a disappointment for a property of this status. At check-in the bed was unkept, dust on the furniture, battery on the heating/conditioning unit was almost expired, making temperature control difficult, during my stay the room was not serviced….even after setting the electronic to request, the safe was inoperative….this is not a good look for a casino hotel! I got a distinct impression that you’re devoting all resources to your new restaurant and forgetting your responsibility to hotel guests.

Very tight machines horrible experience yesterday tons of people and groups of people talking about how bad this place is very greedy when it comes to actually being able to play if your just going for a good time you will still need to bring quite a big pocket book because there going to try and get it all the win/loss ratio is heavily tilted on the house side which is understandable but this was maxed out for the house they def made a killing last night

So we stayed at the Kansas MO. Location for the weekend and I never really leave reviews. However, they are so mixed I decided to leave one. The staff was very nice and friendly. I didn’t have to wait long and the process was quick and easy to check in. I love that they offer free parking which in STL is not always the case. The room was very reasonably priced for the weekend. It was about 450.00 from Friday- Sunday. I think when I compared it to Ameristar they were about 150.00- 200.00 more for the weekend.
The food- this is where they lose a star. The only options were Gram and Dunn and the Sports Bar. They have Hops House and an Asian cuisine restaurant that were both closed. It was storming pretty bad Friday so we decided to stay in and just eat at the Sports Bar so hubby could watch the game. The food was pretty mediocre. I had chicken nachos and my husband had a trio pizza. Once again staff were very nice and friendly. There were no wait times and they were moving people in and out pretty quickly. They seem to have a good system.
The rooms- of course I saw the reviews about bed bugs and outdated rooms. However, our room seemed pretty up date and we didn’t have any rodent issues. The sheets were clean and the room was as well. The bed was so comfortable. I slept so well! The bathroom was spacious offering the toilet isolated in the bathroom from the shower that also had 2 shower heads- one over head and one traditional that can simultaneously run. The pressure was fine contrary to some of the other reviews I read. It was also rather large and had a seating area as if your in a sauna. That was a pretty nice touch. Oh yeah, the entry way into the hotel is beautiful it gives you Vegas vibes with the clouds in the ceiling like the Venetian. Now I’m not at all comparing it to the Venetian. Kind of like if the Orleans and Venetian had a baby or maybe a little cousin.
Last but not least the Casino- now I will say we went Friday after dinner and it was storming. I have to agree with the reviews on the Casino. Those slots was so tight me and my husband lost ALOT in less than an hour. It was unbelievable and we tried multiple machines. I honestly don’t remember many bonuses and everytime I did get into one i had lowered my bet. We went to Ballys the next day and won some of it back. He was completely against gambling here again but I talked him into us going back down Saturday when we came in from the bar. We won a couple of hundreds back but we actually had some play time. Which means a lot. We played tug of war for a couple of hours in there this time. I only saw them paying out 1 person. I know they have all these statistics and numbers of winners, but I don’t know how valid that is.. I will say the people on the tables seemed to be yelling and cheering so I would imagine that they had some luck.
I would definitely recommend that someone stay here and if we visit again I would book again!!
