  Last year we were looking for ebikes. Had our idea of what we wanted. Staff only reaffirmed our choice and got us set up with 2 Troxus bikes, Hollywood carrier, travel bags, and helmets. Since we have over 300 miles rode. Just recently I had an issue with my rear hydraulic brake. Came back and they had me back on the trail in 20 minutes.

  They go above the norm to find solutions, timely and always at a good price. This is what old-fashioned stores are like - helping everyone and taking the time to accommodate you like they're your private bike mechanic - the best bike shop in the twin cities.

  I've driven by Gateway Cycle a thousand times and, for some reason, only recently stopped in for the first time. I brought in my neglected bike and ended up trading it in for another used bike (I didn't even know they bought and sold used bikes!), which was a much better option for me because it had already been looked over, tuned up, and was ready to go. It's also my toddlers' new favorite place because they have a super fun bell collection, along with little helmets and balance bikes. And coming from someone who does most of my shopping online, I was pleasantly surprised by their selection and prices. You won't find the same products cheaper online. The staff is easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable; no judgment and no pressure. Everyone has been great but I only caught Billy's name. Now I just wish I had more excuses to wander around in there.

  A very friendly and professional business. My brakes were needing adjustment and I thought it needed pads. The technician was happy to adjust the brakes at a great price and now my bike is safe to ride. Thanks Gateway Cycle 🚲 🙏

  The people that work here are absolutely exceptional. I am someone who is completely new to the eBay community and just all of the advancements in the biking community and last Sunday it was so busy and all the employees are so busy and each customer interaction, including my own was exceptional. The young man who helped us I wish I had gotten his name, but he was very tall and very nice made it so welcome And their inventory is wonderful, especially if you have kids my three-year-old just wanted to get on every single bike and ride it away even though he doesn’t know how to please make this the only place to check out because it will be the Another sidenote they do price match other locations and manufacturer so keep that in mind when you’re there and they are more than welcome to do that for you. Please make this the only place to check out. It will be the only place I recommend in the state.
