  We had such a wonderful experience with Kickstart! My daughter started as a complete beginner and worked her way up to almost a black belt. The instructors truly cared about her, encouraged her, and helped her grow so much in both skill and confidence. As a parent, I especially appreciated the school pickup option and the fantastic communication. She came home tired, happy, and very well loved—which is about the best review a parent can give. ❤️ We’re so grateful for the years she spent at Kickstart and would absolutely recommend them to other families!

  I was a former student of kick start martial arts. This place helped me in more ways then just combative purposes. It gave me friends and people I could talk with and look forward to seeing after a long school day. The owners, and helpers are nice to everyone. If im being honest I was a brawler with my classmates. This place helped me understand control over my body and emotions. However the only bad thing I would have to say is it's body training and certain things on combative skills. With the problem on body training I view their training as good for some people. Like myself 10 push-ups in a row was not that much of a problem and I think they could benefit from giving certain people who stick out in physical abilities bigger goals for that like more push-ups and sit ups to further improve someone's body. The part on combative skills is that this place will drill base concepts of punching kicking and certain drills like shotgun, and "4" depending on some things. I think it's a good idea for earlier levels of karate but after you do it for awhile you lose creativity on things like sparing where you can follow straight sets of punches. Other than those 2 things great place 👍

  Amazing place!! Our two kids have attended the family owned martial arts studio since 2013. Both my Son and Daughter attended the after school program and our Daughter continues taking martial arts classes getting closer to test for her 2nd degree black belt. We are very fortunate to have found Kick Start Martial Arts because they value family, relationships, learning, discipline, honesty and so many other important principals in life. We know that our kids matter there and they are not just a spot on the mat. Thank you Paul and Kellie for being so professional, caring and everything you do! Riascos Family

  Our two daughters have attended this karate school for over 6 years. They've joined the night/weekend classes as well as the after school program. They have learned a lot, grown in strength and created great friendships. The sessions offer both karate content as well as good life skills and perspectives. The community of families has also been valuable to be part of.
