PohlCat, located in the heart of Michigan, is a championship-style 18-hole golf course played over, and around, the scenic 100-foot wide Chippewa River. The course was designed by former PGA Tour pro, and Mt. Pleasant native, Dan Pohl. There are plenty of similarities between the great PGA Tour courses Dan played and the tough, but fair, design of PohlCat. This design offers players a unique golfing experience by combining beautiful northern Michigan scenery with a links-style feel.

- ZSZachary SmithJul 28, 20263.0Well, What can I say - its better than most cheap courses. BUT......... For $110.00 plus premium course I was very disappointed. Lots of turf issues like dead grass, tee boxes, fairways, and fungus on the greens. Pace of play was slow. 5 hours. We had a 2 person husband-wife group in front of us. She was dropping numerous (3 to 5) balls and kept hitting shanks over and over again. He wasn't much bettet. We called and told the proshop and never seen anyone come to correct the situation. They skipped the clubhouse on the turn which was odd considering I never seen a cart girl 1 time... Be Better!
