  It was a beautiful trip with my four girls .A little bit difficult, but lots of fun once we got the hang of it!! I definitely recommend having some experience behind you before you go!!

  My wife, 12+ year old grandson, and I had the best time ever on the one-hour, through the woods, kayaking trip we took a week ago. The super nice lady (maybe Mellanie?) who answered the phone spent many minutes helping us make an appropriate risk assessment based on our novice experience level, and helped us select the trip and the 3 kayaks. She then drove the shuttle to the car drop point and the kayak put-in point, giving us additional tips and encouragement. The day was perfect. The water was perfect. The equipment was perfect. The customer service was perfect. We were sad when the hour was over. Highly recommend.

  Slightly frustrating experience, and it may be on our part not theirs. Reservation was for noon, advised to be there early, got there at 11:30 and not on the river until 1:10. Staff on the bus were very friendly, at the shop not so much. Bus had AC but it barely worked.

  Very disappointed with our kayak experience on July 7, 2026. The river was filled with fallen trees, logs, debris, huge branches protruding every which way etc. No spotters from your company whatsoever. Unplanned emergencies are inevitable! Within the first ten minutes of our journey, our kayak veered toward a huge fallen tree that was unavoidable. I was in front (two-person kayak) when our kayak slammed sideways into a large tree trunk. My head struck the trunk when our kayak got lodged into all the branches causing us to fall into the river. Thankfully my friend and I were able to find a large branch to hold onto! Luckily my friend's screams for help were heard by a member of our 9-person group. He courageously secured his kayak and walked over to where we were and successfully rescued us, dislodged the kayak and flipped the kayak back over, got us settled back inside and we continued on our journey to the finish location. After reaching land, we met the employees who were waiting for the arrival of our group. We explained the unfortunate dilemma we experienced; they could see the large bump and bruise on my forehead, and my friend's legs were all cut up and bleeding from the underwater branches! The female employee had a nonchalant and couldn't care less attitude. She proceeded to tell us all about her experiences on that course. My injuries could have been far more serious, and I am grateful and blessed. But I was taken aback by such an inconsiderate lack of concern. I can't believe you run your business like this, and the safety of your guests are of no concern or importance to you. The very least you could have done was cleared the path of the numerous fallen trees from the recent storm.
