  This was the worst experience ever at a hotel. While the staff is friendly, the rooms are not clean and I checked in on Tuesday and had to beg for someone to come refresh towels and even empty the trash; sheets were ripped. On the final night I could not take it anymore- spoke to Manager and he promised to have my room cleaned. Cleaning staff did a poor job - disappointed. I was there for a conference and I paid too much money to have to pay for an unkept room and an iron that did not work and a broke ironing board ; crumbs were on the glass top table when I arrived. Either a few Clorox wipes I overlooked it and then it got worse

  Stayed at the Hollywood Casino Greektown Hotel and was really impressed with how spacious and clean the room was. The hotel had plenty of bathrooms available throughout the property, which was very convenient, and the 24-hour gym was a great bonus. One of the best parts is the location — it’s surrounded by a lot of great restaurants and bars, and it’s also very close to the DPM, making it easy to get around most of downtown Detroit without needing to drive. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I’d definitely stay here again.

  The waitress are mean and rude. No bonuses. When you finally get a bonus, you get nothing. I think the casino is just greedy. There is a lady cleaner named Trena that is so very nice and sweet. She always makes sure our areas are clean and wish us well while gambling. Trena could teach those waitress how to treat us customers.

  I stayed at the Hollywood Casino in Greektown the first weekend in June. We were assigned a room at check in, and proceeded to the 26th floor. When we got to the room, the door was latched shut so I returned to the lobby to let them know. I was asked if I wanted a different room. I obviously did since I could not enter the room. I was assigned another room. When we entered that room, we noticed that the bedside table was broken and had screws sticking out. Back to the lobby we went, where we were asked again if we wanted a different room. We finally got into a room where everything seemed to be working. We looked around the room and it was definitely not clean but I was unwilling to move again. We were at the hotel for two nights and used the valet. The valet was very friendly at check in. We did not get the car out during our stay. When we checked out on Monday, we went to valet to get the car back. The valet brought the car and I noticed a dent under my side mirror that I know was not there when we arrived. The valet was gone and I needed to leave. On the drive home, I messaged the hotel about the dent in my car and cameras on the property with no solution. I did receive a notification on my Toyota app that my car had been remote started and the doors had been left open on the day prior. I have reached out to Toyota to see if there were miles put on my car during the stay. I have written emails to Penn and also to the hotel with no response. I stay in Detroit often but this was my first and last stay here. I would recommend you stay somewhere else and if you do stay here...do not use valet! I guess I will be waiting for the Hollywood Hotel to reach out!

  An hour after checking in we were on our third different room.The first room we attempted to get into was 2607 our key worked but someone had engaged the security latch and we were unable to get in. We went went down to the front desk where my fiance was met with attitude for requesting a different room, one we could actually get into. We got to the second room 2907 and the coffee table was held together by what appeared to be 1 nail. When I sat my water bottle on the table, the top literally collapsed. We went down to the front desk again and received even more coldness and asked "so you need another room?" Got to the third room and it clearly was half-assed cleaned I'll attach photos of everything. We come to Detroit numerous times a year and this is our first stay here and we will absolutely not be back.
